I specialize in producing elegant and efficient sites. I tend to favour simplicity in design and, while not a web standards geek or guru, I aim for compliance and accessibility. The end result is fast-loading and easy to use web sites. I can take care of whole projects or work in conjunction with your existing suppliers, where you have graphic design in place for example.

Do you need someone to help keep your site up to date? Whether your site needs regular maintenance or the occasional edit, keeping the content fresh and accurate is essential for your sites credibility with visitors. If your site requires frequent updating I can provide affordable and easy to use content management solutions allowing you to undertake day to day maintenance in house if desired.

Web site redesign

Even the best sites need some work now and again, especially if the maintenance has been neglected! Is your site showing its age, or have you outgrown what was initially a successful site? From a complete redesign to a bit of a tweak, if your site is underperforming I can probably help. Just as with a new design I will seek to understand what you need your site to do for you.

Side orders

One of the appeals of web design for me is the varied tasks that go into making the finished product. With other freelance hats on I work as both a writer and photographer and can use these skills to produce copy and images as required. I also offer other related services such as digital media authoring, internet consultancy and search engine optomisation.
