Loopy Lurley Motocross
I've started photographing more events recently which is fun as it gets me out seeing and shooting things I might not otherwise do. Recently I turned my lens onto Motocross action at the Loopy Lurley Endurocross event organised by Action South West.
Here's a couple of my favourite images from the hundreds I shot on the day. They're both relatively clean, simple images that I like for a little extra element in each. The first has a nice motion blurred background, adding to the sense of speed and action, while the rider is kept sharp.
In this second image I spotted a vantage point overlooking one of the jumps that offered a nice clean background of the neigbouring field with an interesting perspective giving the impression of the rider almost biking across the the top of the hedge. This is the closest I got to nailing the wheels right onto the hedge!
If you were at the event there's many many more pics to browse through in the proofs area. Hopefully I captured you somewhere around the course.
