I've been a photographer, on and off, for nearly two decades, which makes me feel old! Initially my photography went hand in hand with an equal passion for travelling. Bags would be stuffed with the classic yellow boxes of Kodachrome 64 transparency film and trips followed by arduous periods of captioning slides. Some of my work from these trips is still marketed by Travel Ink photo library in the UK.
These days I'm working largely with digital equipment and captioning is now part of the post processing time spent on a computer. However, while the process may have changed somewhat, in the end it is still all about the end image; producing a picture to be proud of. I still love the challenges and variety that photography provides for me.
My photographic interests have diversified over time and as opportunities have arisen so that I now offer a full range of photography services. I shoot commercial and editorial assignments, photograph events and weddings and am available for portrait, publicity and model/talent portfolio work.
I still devote time to shooting images for stock, now focusing more on general and lifestyle images. I always need new faces and locations for stock photoshoots, and can sometimes offer free photos in return on a TFCD basis. I enjoy the freedom to experiment that self-commisioned work allows to an extent and like to produce fresh, innovative, even quirky takes on the everyday and the ordinary.
